    The leaf in the corner means the game uses OpenFeint for multiplayer. It’s a way for apps to connect to a centralized server for score tracking and other multiplayer specific features.

    @Matt

    That’s Openfeint . Basically it’s a universial acievements system used for Iphone games which tracks different achievements you have scored for that game. And much like Xbox live’s system, you can always compare with friends etc.

    @Matt, the leaf means it works with the Open Feint network, which is a worldwide network of games and leaderboards that allows you to compare yourself to other players playing the same game.

    The leaf symbol in the corner means that the game is a part of the OpenFeint game network. Online leaderboards and achievements are posted if you decide to be a part of the network.

    Matt

    The leaf in the corner of the pic of an app means they use OPENFEINT for social networking. With the same openfeint ID you can track your achievements in all the apps that use OPENFEINT, chat, keep track of friends and their achievements, etc.

    Actually, the first time you make an openfeint ID is the only time you’ll need to log-in. From then on you automagically get logged in based on your iPhone’s ID.

    The leaf means the game supports OpenFeint which is an online scoring and achievement tracker thing with some other features.

    Thank you tons for the games!!!! This has been wonderful. We are giving my son an ipod touch for christmas so I am loading up the games each day. This has been a great promotion for the holidays.

    It means that it has integrated OpenFeint for statistical tracking between games (think achievements on xbox live). There can also be multiplayer I believe but I’m not positive, in any case it’s not assured.
