Do not expect to find such games here. Appvent is an event to promote small unknown devs not game tycoons.

Come on guys. Be more realistic. As if they would put a game like Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X on the appvent calender. Why don’t think of a game which would do with promoting say for instance Jelly Car 2 (although I hate this game this is the kind of thing appvent calender should be giving us) or Minigore. We shouldn’t take this for granted. Just be happy with what you get and be grateful blacksmith games are doing this wonderful thing. That we can all enjoy. Merry Christmas.

Geez people, the whole idea of the appvent calendar is for minor companies to get their app promoted.. So why bother thinking that it is going to be something really good..
Even at this early stage, I doubt you’ll get something fantastic..
Maybe day 22-24..
Actually, we’ve been getting some great games all along. Samurai (which I paid for) is one of my all-time favorites, and like most of the Appvent Calendar games, it oozes style.
The folks at blacksmithgames have good taste.
I think we got a couple of good games, with totemo, blimp, …
But yes I think we won’t get blockbuster games, but I dont care, I like the little games like the ones on this calendar. and after alll it’s good to have little treats like that every day
It’s weird, until yesterday, the apps were being released at 7pm Australian time… now, for some reason, they’re being released at 8pm-8:30pm.
I wonder what’s changed? Either way, looking forward to the next app. Heard rumors of Action Pinball, or something along those lines…

Yesterday the app showed up free around midnight pacific (US) time. Today there’s nothing. =( I guess I will go to sleep

Folks, be patient and realistic, as I’ve posted few days ago, all of this is free. We could be overwhelmed with popup to “repay” for what we get free.
Also be aware that those application need to be “synched” a 0.00$ on most Itunes country store. It’s not something that is done instantly. Before posting the application, the webmaster need at least to confirm that the app is free in US store.

I’d like to see Countdown: DowntoZero, or Drop7 here sometime. Love ‘em both, and I got a couple of cheap friends that like playing them on my phone but still haven’t bought it on theirs. Also those games deserve some more press. Crazy addictive puzzlers the likes of Tetris on the NES.
Bloom would also be a nice one but that thing’s not really a “game”.
As for something I don’t have that I’d like? Canabalt? But the chances of that are slim to none.

When we get thee free game i dont want to wait. Good idea but bad makers not even the same time every day they release i hate it! Cheap kindergames from time to time but cool when you are on drugs even kindergames are cool

This game looks amazing, like most of the other great games on Appvent Calendar (keep up the great work!). I wonder what the Big Announcement is?
Il ne faut évidemment pas rêver, il y a très peu de chance de voir certains des jeux les plus vendus sur l’AppStore ici de manière gratuite, même pour une journée.
Ceux qui sont déjà dans le top50 ont une visibilité suffisante pour être téléchargés sans effort.
C’est surtout intéressant pour les petits développeurs, les jeux peu connus, qui ont besoin d’un coup de pouce pour percer.
C’est déjà très bien d’avoir ces jeux gratuitement, profitons de ce qui sera proposé.
