After hovering intently on the App page all day in the UK trying to download it, to no avail, I fee that as it is now 0:30 here, that I may as well give up, go to sleep and hope like hell that it’s still free tomorrow, and that it works!!

It is now 1am in the UK (I think the regional clock is off on these comments). The app is still listed as free in iTunes but the “being modified” error persists

Gonna have to disagree with cheapbastard. The quality of the games that you’ve made free, with only a handful of exceptions, has been astounding. Anybody complaining about any of these FREE programs is a fool. (No offense intended, cheapbastard.)

I bet seldom people will pay for these games and they are so cheap, most of the games’ original prices are $0.99 or $1.99.
App company is really penny-pinching, I can’t believe these are the “big surprise” X’mas gifts they announced.
Hope the 23rd and 24th games won’t let us down.
Maybe I’m just weird, but I had already purchased many of these games before they were made free here. In my opinion, Samurai, iBlast Moki and Coastal Defense are some of the best games on the iPhone, period. And ones like Blimp, Totemo and Wheeler’s Treasure and fun with loads of style. What independent developers lack in terms of 3D Gameloft resources, they often make up for in unique gameplay and art direction, which is awesome.
Crazy Cars doesn’t count as one of those unique gameplay and cool art direction games, though. Cheapbastard and Lara, I owe you apologies.
