IF ITS NOT FREE IN YOUR COUNTRY WAIT SOME MINUTES

Ickle Count is a simple pick up and play counting game that can be played just for fun or to aid with a child’s numeracy skills.

Ickle count involves tapping little diver characters in sequence to count as many as possible before time runs out.

For every diver you select correctly a sea monster will grab and eat them to a satisfying friendly chomp, whilst increasing the highest number achieved so far. If you touch the wrong diver they will shake to tell you you’ve got the wrong one.

When time runs out you will see you’re final count along with some feedback on how well you did. How high will you be able to count to before time runs out?

What does everyone think of Ickle Count then?

I think it’s pretty basic, not my favourite of the 8 so far, but free nonetheless

@Davey - I thought it was a bit of a let down, really. Even if it is free. Didn’t even bother downloading it.

@Jimmyrqmbo - My four year old daughter knows perfectly well how to operate my iPhone. And she’s just learned to count, so she’ll probably like this one. Not sure about the sea monster though. :P

Tis the season, so there’s games for all ages. Next up, Brain Training for the elderly.

Ickle Count is a casual game aimed at a young audience or parents who want something to entertain/educate their children for short periods.

If anyone is interested in a more ‘mature’ version check out ‘Seaman Count’ which also has leaderboards for those with a competitive nature. :)

To those who think children can’t operate an iPod, you’re wrong! My 3 year old plays ours all the time, and it’s loaded with apps for toddlers and children. So thanks, Appvent, for including a game like this. It’s appreciated.

Great time-passing game for anyone! I could play it forever! Although not the best game Appvent Calendar has done, it’s great and everyone should download it.

This is quite a disapointment, if this game is for younger audiences, then there should be a mature alternative for those of us that are too old for it, my vote would be some other mature puzzle. I sure hope the next one is a good freebie. I also hope that we get Jet Cars for one of them. I am still mad about not being able to get 33rd division, everyone knows that it was glitched SO put it back up plz.

This is an awesome initiative! But some of them really are lousy. Oh well, can’t complain when it’s free. :)

good god, you guys are so picky and whiney. these are FREE GAMES. They don’t have to offer them at all. Just because you don’t like it, doesn’t mean you need to get on here and act like babies.

We aren’t whining, we are expressing our opinions, and truly anyone over 18 who likes this game should get their head examined, no offense. I myself am 24, and I really want to see more hardcore games such as rpg and action, there are alot of good titles out there, but they have a high price as well, be so nice to get one of those for free, because if they did I would so buy more from that company. Anyway we will see if they took our advice tomorrow, on another note the bonus featured game is pretty good, not lame like this one. Heck even party games would be better than this.

Just for those who may not have noticed that some other developers are getting involved with appvent.

Green Fingers is today’s other free app, as displayed at the top left corner of the screen. Tried it out and it’s actually pretty good, certainly one of the better ones so far.

Looking forward to the other days and other featured apps

Wonder why this game hasn’t been posted, maybe its just a normal freebie, but I noticed it had the holiday special note or w/e, anyway everyone check out Dark Raiders, its a full free game but only for 3g users, sorry to everyone who has the older models. This game is really good for a free game, and uses the graphics of the itouch very well. It reminds me of Gauntlet. If anyone knows of any other free games (full not lite) or sites post them
